Day by day

Itinerary

A typical daily plan. We adjust it for weather, your pace and any must-see requests.

  1. 1

    Marrakech → Ait Benhaddou

After meeting your guide in Marrakech, who will explain the route, terrain and important practical information for the ride ahead, climb the High Atlas over the Tizi n'Tichka pass. Turn into the beautiful Ounila Valley, where the road follows red-earth villages and old kasbahs, before reaching the UNESCO-listed ksar of Ait Benhaddou for the first night.

  2. 2

    Ait Benhaddou → Dades Valley

Pass Ouarzazate and the palm groves of Skoura, then follow the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs through the Rose Valley. The final section enters the Dades Valley, where twisting roads, fortified villages and sculpted rock formations create one of the most memorable riding landscapes in southern Morocco.

  3. 3

    Dades Valley → Todra Gorge

Begin with the famous Dades bends and ride across the high plateau toward Tinghir. Enter Todra Gorge between sheer limestone walls, with time to park the motorcycles, walk beside the river and enjoy the canyon before a relaxed evening nearby.

  4. 4

Todra Gorge → Merzouga (Erg Chebbi)

Leave Todra and continue through palm oases, small Berber towns and increasingly open desert scenery. After passing Erfoud and Rissani, arrive at Merzouga in time to watch the first sunset over the high dunes of Erg Chebbi.

  5. 5

Merzouga — Erg Chebbi Dunes Day

Explore the complete circuit around Erg Chebbi using rocky tracks, firm desert pistes and optional sand sections chosen for the group's ability. Stops may include Khamlia, the Mifis mines and a nomad family, followed by a desert lunch and an overnight near the dunes or at camp.

  6. 6

    Merzouga → Draa Valley

Ride west from Merzouga through the wide desert plains around Alnif and N'Kob. The scenery changes as you enter the Draa Valley, where long palm groves, earthen villages and distant Anti-Atlas peaks accompany the route to the overnight stop.

  7. 7

    Draa Valley → Ouarzazate

Follow the Draa Valley toward Agdz and cross the dark volcanic slopes of the Anti-Atlas. Continue to Ouarzazate with time for selected kasbahs, panoramic stops or a film-studio visit, depending on the group's interests and arrival time.

  8. 8

Ouarzazate → High Atlas Mountains → Marrakech

Leave Ouarzazate and climb steadily back into the High Atlas for the final ride of the tour. The road winds up to the Tizi n'Tichka pass, the highest crossing of the trip, with wide views over the ranges you have spent the week riding. Descend through walnut groves and Berber mountain villages, stopping for photographs and a last mountain lunch, before the road flattens out towards Marrakech. If motorcycle rental or a hotel/airport transfer is included in your confirmed itinerary, those arrangements are completed after the ride.
