A relaxed eight-day ride from Agadir to Casablanca along Morocco's Atlantic shore — empty coastal sweepers, the harbours of Essaouira and El Jadida, the Oualidia oyster lagoon — then a taste of the Atlas foothills before Casablanca. A scenic ocean-to-city route, and it runs in either direction.

Plan a custom tour

Which region should you ride?

The Atlas is the crossing — the passes that take you from the imperial cities down towards the desert, and some of the best asphalt riding in the country. The Sahara is the reason most riders come: pistes, stony hamada and the dunes of Erg Chebbi. The Atlantic coast is the softer option — empty sweepers, fishing harbours and generally mild weather. It is a useful alternative in winter, when the high mountain passes can occasionally be affected by snow. Most of our tours combine two of the three; the 12-day expedition covers all of them.

How long should your tour be?

Seven days is enough for a first loop from Marrakech — the High Atlas, the Dades and Todra gorges and a night at Erg Chebbi. Eight days slows the same idea down and adds the Draa Valley. Ten days lets you start in Casablanca and ride north to south through Fes and the Middle Atlas. Twelve days adds the Atlantic coast and the Anti-Atlas. All of them can be shortened or extended.

What every guided tour includes

A local motorcycle guide who rides your route with you, accommodation chosen and booked in advance, and the route, pace and riding level agreed with you before you travel. A 4x4 support vehicle can be added for luggage, equipment and non-riding companions. Motorcycle rental can be arranged through our partners, and we confirm what is available for your dates before you book.

Looking for enduro rather than road touring?

Most of our tours are road-based, with desert pistes rather than dunes. If you would rather spend your days off-road, we also run KTM enduro riding from our base in Merzouga — from half a day in the dunes to multi-day enduro programmes across southern Morocco.
