Day by day

Itinerary

A typical daily plan. We adjust it for weather, your pace and any must-see requests.

  1. 1

    Casablanca Arrival & Rider Briefing

Arrive in Casablanca and settle into the accommodation confirmed for your itinerary. If an airport transfer is included, it is arranged in advance. Later, if motorcycle rental is part of your booking, the handover is completed before your guide explains the route, terrain, road conditions, fuel stops, weather and the daily rhythm of the ride. A short Corniche shakedown loop can be considered if timing allows.

  2. 2

    Casablanca → Rabat → Chefchaouen

Leave Casablanca and ride north along the coast to Rabat, where you can stop for the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the ochre walls of the Kasbah of the Oudayas above the Atlantic. Turning inland, the farmland gradually gives way to the green ridges of the Rif, and the final climb brings you into Chefchaouen, the blue-washed mountain town that is your base for the next two nights.

  3. 3

    Chefchaouen — Full Day Exploring

A full day off the bike in Chefchaouen. Wander the blue lanes and stepped alleyways of the medina, browse the weavers' workshops, and take the short walk up to the Spanish Mosque for the classic view over the town at sunset. There is time for a longer hike into the Rif foothills if you want it, or simply a slow morning over mint tea in the Plaza Uta el-Hammam.

  4. 4

    Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Fes

Descend out of the Rif on quiet mountain roads and ride south to the Roman city of Volubilis, where you can walk among the standing columns, arches and remarkably intact floor mosaics. Continue past the hilltop town of Moulay Idriss and on to Fes, arriving in the late afternoon with the evening free near the old medina.

  5. 5

    Fes — Guided Cultural Day

A guided day exploring Fes el-Bali, the largest car-free urban area in the world and the cultural heart of Morocco. With a local guide you visit the tanneries, the Al-Qarawiyyin mosque and library, the Bou Inania Madrasa and the craft souks, learning how the medina's trades and neighbourhoods still work today. The bikes rest; the afternoon can stay guided or become free time.

  6. 6

Fes → Middle Atlas → Merzouga

One of the longest and most varied riding days. Climb through Ifrane and the cedar forests near Azrou, where Barbary macaques are often seen at the roadside, then cross the high Middle Atlas plateau. The landscape dries and opens as you drop through the Ziz valley and its palm groves, and by late afternoon the dunes of Erg Chebbi rise ahead of you at Merzouga.

  7. 7

Merzouga — Desert Circuit & Optional Activities

A full desert day around Erg Chebbi, with the route matched to the group's off-road confidence — rocky pistes, flat dry-lake sections and optional sand. Stops can include Khamlia, the Mifis area and other selected points around Erg Chebbi. Optional desert activities and the evening accommodation or camp are confirmed in your personalised itinerary before booking.

  8. 8

Merzouga → Todra Gorge → Dades Valley

Leave the dunes behind and ride west through Rissani and Tinejdad to Tinghir, where the Todra Gorge cuts a 300-metre slot through the limestone. Park the bikes and walk beside the river between the canyon walls before continuing into the Dades Valley, following the switchbacks past kasbahs and the eroded rock formations known as the Monkey Fingers.

  9. 9

Dades Valley → Ouarzazate → Ait Benhaddou → Marrakech

Ride the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs west through the Rose Valley and the Skoura palm grove to Ouarzazate. Continue to the fortified village of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO site and a familiar film location, with time to cross the river and climb through the ksar. The day finishes with the High Atlas crossing at Tizi n'Tichka and the long descent into Marrakech.

  10. 10

Marrakech — Guided Visit & Departure

A guided morning in Marrakech can take in the Koutoubia minaret, the Bahia Palace and the souks around Jemaa el-Fna, at a pace that suits your departure time. Any motorcycle return or airport transfer included in your confirmed arrangement is scheduled around your plans, and additional nights can be arranged on request.
